The following is day by day of a sculpture I did this summer.

I started by sculpting a model of what I plan to do in clay.

Day 2

She's starting to take shape!

Day 1

My second task was to choose a stone.  This is a 70 lb. chunk of Alabaster.  Approximate size is 30 inches tall by 20 inches wide .

Start sculpting! I am using an air powered chisel and various files
