The weathre has been EXTREMELY hot this summer in Abilene. We spent most of our days at the pool.  Kendall learned how to dive (thanks to big brother Collin) and we all had a lot of fun!

The boys and I spent a nice morning at the Independence Zoo with my mother.  I used to visit this very same Zoo when I was about Collin's age.  It was nice being able to share it with the boys and things looked very much the same as when I was young.

Brad and I managed to sneak away to Eureka Springs for some much needed down time.  All thanks again to Sue and Norman for watching the boys.  We stayed in a nice little Bed and Breakfast called the Bridgeford House.  I shopped and Brad golfed.  It was a very enjoyable two days.

We mus not forget the newest addition to our family.  Kendall has been wnating a kitten for the longest time.  Since we won't be able to buy him one until we are in a house, Brad and I bought him this little stuffed kitten while we were in Eureka Springs which he named Sassy.  She goes everywhere with us and even Madison has enjoyed her company!
