"Hi, I started work on Monday. I work at a salmon factory. It is so much fun working with the Icelandic people. They have been so friendly. This is the only job I could find besides cleaning. When you don't know the language your out of luck. I try to
look on the positive side, it's better then staying in the house. I like the weather and the scenery. " |

"The boys start school Sept. 1st. We met the principle yesterday and the teachers next week. They will go into the 8th and 9th grade. Here they don't hold kids back a year, they all stay in there own age group. Also in Iceland, before you enter work,
home, school or doctors offices you have to take your shoes off,and walk around in socks or slippers. The boys got a laugh out of the school, when you walk in, they have all these shelf's to put your shoes into.They are
going to a soccer camp this weekend." |
